PSG urged to ‘break the bank’ for Kante

Paris St-Germain have been urged to “break the bank” for N’Golo Kante – and it could lead to Chelsea clinching a deal to sign Declan Rice from West Ham.

There has been speculation over Kante’s future for some time and he has been linked with the likes of PSG, Real Madrid, Juventus and Inter Milan.

And former PSG midfielder Eric Rabesandratana believes the club should go all out to take Kante back to his native France.

Kante’s goal secured a 1-0 win for France over Portugal on Saturday.

“I would like to say that if I were a leader at PSG I would break the bank to sign N’Golo Kante,” said Rabesandratana, as reported by the Express.

“Kante is the player who would allow PSG to win the Champions League. We do not need Lionel Messi or anyone else.”

And the Express suggest that a big-money offer from PSG for Kante could pave the way for Chelsea to sign Rice.

England international Rice continues to be linked with a move to Stamford Bridge and there has been speculation that Chelsea could sell a number of players in order to finance the deal.

Another player who could be on his way out of the Bridge is Emerson Palmieri.

Italian publication Republica claim discussions have opened with Napoli over a possible loan move for Emerson, who is very much out of favour.
