A dressing-room rant from West Ham captain Mark Noble was the catalyst to their upturn in form, the Daily Mail reports.

Noble is said to have made his feelings clear following the Hammers’ recent defeat against Wolves.

A source is quoted by the Mail as saying that Noble “didn’t hold back” when accusing his team-mates of letting the club down.

Noble is said to have told them: ‘You just do not seem to care and that is not acceptable at this club.’

Meanwhile, the Daily Mirror say Danny Welbeck is set to follow Aaron Ramsey out of Arsenal.

Ramsey’s contract talks have reportedly been scrapped and the Mirror say Welbeck is also on the way out as there is no agreement over a new deal.

The Daily Star have picked up on SportMediaSet claiming that Gunners boss Unai Emery wants Napoli’s Poland midfielder Piotr Zielinski to replace Ramsey.

And Tottenham are ready to make a bid for Paris St-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot in January, the Mirror say.

Rabiot’s contract expires next summer and he will be free to speak to non-French clubs at the turn of the year.

Unless he signs a new deal, PSG would have to accept an offer for him in January in order to avoid losing him on a free transfer at the end of the season.

The Mirror say Spurs want him and that Liverpool and Barcelona are also among the clubs keen on the 23-year-old France international.
