Paper round-up: Arsenal and Spurs linked with Goretzka

Arsenal and Tottenham will battle it out to sign Schalke midfielder Leon Goretzka this summer, the Daily Mirror say.

Schalke are reportedly ready to sell the 22-year-old at the end of the season after he rejected a new contract at the Bundesliga club.

He is one of several players to have been touted as possible Arsenal signings if the Gunners were to sell Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez this summer.

Juventus have also been linked with Germany international Goretzka, whose representatives have contacted a number of clubs.

The Mirror say he is valued in the £20m bracket and that Schalke could be interested in a cut-price deal.

Meanwhile, West Ham will offer Winston Reid a new contract worth about £70,000 a week at the end of the season, according to The Sun.

And Real Madrid are once again being tipped to move for Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois this summer.

The Guardian and the Daily Mail both suggest that Real are determined to land the Chelsea duo and could offer Colombian James Rodriguez and Spain striker Alvaro Morata as part of the deal.

Both players have been linked with moves to Chelsea in recent months, with Morara touted as a possible replacement for Diego Costa if he is sold by the Blues.
