Oteh is potentially available for a move and the R’s have been keen to take a look at him before the end of the season.

West Bromwich Albion youngster Chay Scrivens has also been invited to train with QPR.

The 19-year-old winger, who has not made a first-team appearance for West Brom, is currently on loan at non-League Worcester City. He has previously been on loan at Torquay United.

Rangers are keen to pick up youngsters from Premier League clubs as well as lower-division talent.

And manager Ian Holloway says he will use the international break to check on potential transfer targets.

“I can watch some slightly lower football and see if there’s any gems out there,” Holloway told West London Sport.

“I’ll catch up with my scouting network to see where they might want to send me just to have a little look.”
