Yet another addition to the former Tottenham contingent at QPR

Teenage defender Themis Kefalas has joined the list of former Tottenham youngsters at QPR.

Kefelas, 18, impressed during a recent trial with the R’s and has been signed on a contract until the end of the season.

He will initially play for QPR’s development side and gets another chance as a pro, having spent two years at non-League Harringey Borough since being released by Spurs.

QPR, with former Tottenham men Les Ferdinand and Chris Ramsey as director of football and technical director respectively, have given chances to several players released by the north London club in the last few years.

The likes of Grant Hall, Charlie Owens and Aramide Oteh have ended up being signed by the Championship club after leaving Spurs, while several others have had trials.

One of those to have been invited for a trial is winger Nathan Oduwa.

Oduwa, 22, has trained with Rangers in recent weeks and they are interested in signing him.

He left Spurs last year and is a free agent after leaving Slovenian club Olimpija Ljubljana in July.
