QPR eye Hoban and are again linked with Kosovo defender

QPR are hopeful of a deal to sign Watford defender Tommie Hoban on loan.

West London Sport reports that Rangers are looking to take Hoban to Loftus Road and are also planning to make an offer for Barnsley right-back Andy Yiadom.

Centre-back Hoban, 23, spent last season on loan at Blackburn and is expected to be loaned out again.

Meanwhile, Get West London have again claimed that QPR are interested in FC Lausanne-Sport defender Benjamin Kololli.

The Kosovo international, 25, is among a host of players Get West London have linked with the R’s in recent weeks.

Get West London say a Rangers scout will attend Brentford’s pre-season friendly against Lausanne-Sport because they are keeping tabs on Kololli, who is apparently wanted by top-flight clubs in France and Germany.

Get West London have also claimed that QPR want Derby County defender Cyrus Christie.

Following reports that the Republic of Ireland international could be allowed to leave Pride Park, Get West London linked him with a potential move to Loftus Road.

Get West London  have previously said that Rangers are “thought to be interested” in Newcastle’s Sammy Ameobi, “rumoured to be interested in Dijon forward Mamadou Thiam and “rumoured to be interested in making an approach” for Lorient winger Denis Bouanga.

Get West London have also recently linked with R’s with Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham, who is set to join Swansea, and 41-year-old keeper Shay Given, and linked Conor Washington with a possible move to Birmingham after fans’ website Vital Birmingham City published an article asking whether Washington might be the kind of forward who might succeed at St Andrews.
