Big boost for fans as QPR star say he’s happy to stay

Bright Osayi-Samuel says he wants to stay at QPR despite speculation over his future.

Rangers want the winger to sign a new deal at Loftus Road and his representatives have been in talks with the club.

And West London Sport reports that Osayi-Samuel says he is happy at Rangers but is focusing on his performances rather than contract talks.

He said: “Obviously I would love to stay. But I’m just focused on playing games and I let the contract stuff be solved with my agent and the club. I just want to keep playing and see what happens.”

Osayi-Samuel has been in superb of late and he puts that down to the influence of manager Mark Warburton and technical director Chris Ramsey.

He explained: “I’ve learned so much. After training the gaffer or Chris will talk to me for 10 or 20 minutes after the session.

“I just improve my end product when I get to the byline or in dangerous areas. I feel like now it’s paying off.

“I believe I get into dangerous areas every game but the main thing is the end product.

“When I get into dangerous areas it’s that composure. I feel like before I didn’t have that composure and was rushing things, but now I feel more calm and relaxed.”
