Beale set to make another QPR signing – and says fans will be happy

QPR head coach Michael Beale says he is hoping for “good news” on further signings next week.

Beale is keen on bringing in a right-back and another midfield option to the club, he recently told West London Sport, which has been reporting that Millwall defender Danny McNamara is a target.

Beale has already added defenders Jake Clarke-Salter and Kenneth Paal, as well as forward Tyler Roberts on loan from Leeds United.

And the Rangers boss is optimistic of progress being made next week.

“We’re still looking to do one or two things,” he told the club website.

“Hopefully we’ll have some good news on that next week which the fans, I’m sure, will be happy about.

“When Chris Willock is fit and Tyler Roberts is fit, they will add something to the group.

“All in all as a new head coach coming in, I’ve been really pleased with the pre-season and the effort from the lads, albeit we will keep improving every single day.”

Beale was speaking after QPR rounded off their pre-season trip to Germany with a 1-1 draw with Hallescher.

Rangers went behind in the first minute but Macauley Bonne equalised shortly before half-time. Beale’s side play non-League Wealdstone next weekend.
