Liverpool winger Sadio Mane has reportedly been passed fit for Sunday’s game against West Ham, but Daniel Sturridge is a doubt.
The Liverpool Echo reports that Mane will be available for the match at Anfield despite picking up an injury during the Reds’ dramatic 4-3 defeat at Bournemouth at the weekend.
Mane took a knock against the Cherries and was limping before being substituted midway through the second half by boss Jurgen Klopp.
But the Echo reports that Mane was able to join the rest of Klopp’s squad when they trained in Barcelona on Tuesday.
The Senegal international, signed from Southampton during the summer, is Liverpool’s top scorer this season, with seven goals to his name.
However, the injury-plagued Sturridge is nursing a calf problem and did not join the squad in Barcelona.
Neither did Philippe Coutinho and Danny Ings, who are recovering from injuries.
West Ham have injury worries themselves and will travel to Merseyside in desperate need of a positive result.
The Hammers are one place and one point above the Premier League relegation zone and Saturday’s 5-1 defeat at home to Arsenal continued their miserable run.
Slaven Bilic’s side are without a win in five league games.
