Wolves linked with move for out-of-favour Abraham

There continues to be speculation over the future of Tammy Abraham, with Wolves the latest club to be linked with the Chelsea striker.

Aston Villa, West Ham and Leicester have recently been linked Abraham amid reports that he could be on his way out of Stamford Bridge.

Now Football Insider claim Wolves are also interested in Abraham, who has been overlooked by Thomas Tuchel.

He came on as a late substitute at West Ham – his first appearance in 14 matches – but is clearly out of favour.

Asked at a recent press conference if Abraham ought to be concerned, Blues boss Tuchel said: “I think everybody is concerned who is not in the squad.”

The German added: “It’s never an easy decision for me to take.

“Tammy has had this decision a few times against him, which is never personal. This is life at Chelsea sometimes as a player.

“I hope that he does not get lost in too many thoughts. He knows that he is not to be too concerned and enter into too many thoughts about his situation.

“What he can do is stay focused, stay with belief. The situation for a striker can change in minutes.

“I hope he is not concerned about his future. I hope the only thing he cares about is his training.

“That’s the only way to escape a situation that is clearly not satisfying for him but it’s my responsibility to take these choices and sometimes they are hard choices.”

Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone reportedly wants to sign Cesar Azpilicueta.

El Gol Digital claim Simeone would like to take the Chelsea captain back to his native Spain this summer.
