Fulham enter race to sign Villa star Grealish

Fulham are interested in Aston Villa star Jack Grealish, who is also wanted by Tottenham.

Grealish has been linked with several Premier League clubs since Villa were beaten by Fulham in the Championship play-off final.

The defeat left the Midlands club facing serious financial problems after missing out on a return to the top flight.

And West London Sport reports that Fulham are among the clubs interested in Grealish.

The 22-year-old is expected to leave Villa Park this summer, with Tottenham among the clubs showing an interest. Newcastle and Leicester City have also been linked with him.

Despite their financial woes, Villa are insisting that Grealish will not be sold on the cheap. They reportedly value him at £40m.

West London Sport reports that Fulham are also keen on Norwich City midfielder James Maddison and want to sign Lucas Piazon and Tomas Kalas from Chelsea.

Maddison is also wanted by Tottenham and is regarded along with Grealish as one of the Championship’s stand-out players.

Kalas and Piazon have been on loan at Craven Cottage.

West London Sport reports that Kalas’ loan deal included an option to buy the Czech defender for £8.5m but Fulham are hoping to negotiate a lower fee.
