Eze left out of QPR squad ahead of possible move

Ebere Eze was not included in QPR’s squad for a pre-season friendly against AFC Wimbledon on Saturday.

It is sure to increase speculation that Eze could be on his way out of Loftus Road.

West Ham, Crystal Palace and Leeds United have all been linked with the 22-year-old forward.

His omission for Saturday’s game came after  QPR boss Mark Warburton told the likes of Eze not to be distracted by speculation about their future.

There are also doubts over the futures of Ryan Manning and Bright Osayi-Samuel, who are in the final year of their contracts at Loftus Road.

“What they have to do is apply themselves really well. Their job is to focus on football,” Warburton told QPR’s website.

“All you can do as a professional player is concentrate on what they control.

“And they can control how they apply themselves, how they train and how they work.

“The periphery business, let the agents and the various people get on with it.

“The player, just work on your game and if you do that then I don’t think there’s much you can do.

“They’re QPR players. They’re getting paid by QPR. If they stay with QPR, all well and good.”

Recent signings Lyndon Dykes and George Thomas are making their debuts for Warburton’s side.
