Benrahma’s West Ham move appears to be off, Crystal Palace still keen

Said Benrahma’s big money move to West Ham is in doubt after the Brentford winger failed a medical at London Stadium, according to the Daily Mail.

The Moroccan international had looked set to complete a £30m move to the Hammers on the EFL transfer deadline
day after the two clubs agreed a fee earlier this week.

West Ham reportedly discovered the news of a failed medical on Friday morning, but are said to be carrying
out further tests as they hope to still complete a deal before the deadline shuts at 5pm today.

Disagreements over a loyalty bonus were ironed out earlier this week according to reports, and personal
terms were discussed on Wednesday evening.

Benrahma netted 17 goals and chalked up 10 assists in the Championship last season as the Bees just missed
out on promotion.

Crystal Palace also held summer talks with Brentford about Benrahma who signed from Nice in 2018. They remain keen on him.
