The Sun on Sunday say West Ham’s board are ready to back David Moyes with a £30m war chest.

New manager Moyes will reportedly be given the cash set aside in the summer when the Hammers tried in vain to buy Sporting Lisbon’s William Carvalho.

They have been tipped to try again for midfielder Carvalho. Hajduk Split’s Hamza Barry is also said to be of interest.

Meanwhile, speculation linking Manchester United with Danny Rose has increased after he was left out of Tottenham’s squad for the north London derby against Arsenal.

The Sunday Mirror say United will offer £40m for Rose in January and Luke Shaw as part of the deal.

England left-back Rose is said to be unhappy at Spurs and keen to make the move to Old Trafford.

The Sunday Express again link Gareth Bale with a possible return to Tottenham from Real Madrid.

United are said to be interested in the Welshman, but the Sunday Express say Spurs could use a clause inserted in the deal which took Bale to Real, which supposedly gives them first refusal were he to return to the Premier League.

Chelsea and Tottenham will battle to sign Watford’s Brazilian winger Richarlison, The Sun on Sunday claim.

And Crystal Palace left-back Patrick van Aanholt is wanted by Manchester City, again according to The Sun on Sunday.

It is claimed that City are looking at the ex-Chelsea man as possible cover for the sidelined Benjamin Mendy, who is out with a knee injury.

The Sun on Sunday say another former Chelsea player, Ryan Bertrand, is also wanted by City but that Southampton are unlikely to let him go.
