Paper round-up: City again linked with Walker as Hammers reportedly eye Sagna

West Ham have have lined up a move for Manchester City’s former Arsenal right-back Bacary Sagna, the Daily Mirror say.

The France international, who turns 34 next week, is out of contract in the summer and it is claimed that the Hammers are keen to snap him up on a free transfer.

A return to the capital would apparently appeal to Sagna, who spent seven years at Arsenal.

Speculation over his future follows recent reports that Tottenham right-back Kyle Walker is wanted by City.

The Telegraph say England international Walker could be targeted as a replacement for Sagna.

Meanwhile, Borussia Mönchengladbach want Chelsea’s Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Arsenal’s Gedion Zelalem, according to German newspaper Bild.

Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois continues to be linked with a possible move to Real Madrid.

So too does Manchester United’s David de Gea, with both men said to be on Real’s radar ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Sun say Real are looking to offload current keeper Keylor Navas and are hoping to sign Courtois, De Gea or AC Milan’s highly-rated teenager Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Navas has been offered to Juventus, Roma and Lazio, it is claimed.

And Crystal Palace manager Sam Allardyce has brought in a psychologist to work with his players, the Daily Express reports.
