Paper round-up: Spurs reportedly face competition for Lobotka

Tottenham face competition from Paris St-Germain for the signing of Stanislav Lobotka, according to The Times.

Spurs have been linked with the Slovakia midfielder, who has been tipped to leave Spanish club Celta Vigo this summer.

The Times say Spurs’ pursuit of the player could be complicated by PSG now showing an interest in him.

Meanwhile, Thibaut Courtois is facing a £200,000 fine from Chelsea after failing to report for training, the Daily Mail reports.

The Mail say Courtois earns £100,000 a week at Chelsea and will be fined two weeks’ wages for not reporting back to Chelsea for training.

The Daily Telegraph reports that Courtois is confident his actions will succeed in forcing a move to Real.

The Guardian reports that Athletic Bilbao keeper Kepa, who is set to join Chelsea for £71.5m as Courtois’ replacement, almost signed for Real Madrid in January for just £17.9m.

The Daily Mirror say Everton believe they can complete a loan deal for Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma.

The Mirror also say Fulham and Crystal Palace want Jordan Ayew and that the forward has failed to report for training at Swansea in an attempt to force a move.

And Fulham have offered £8m for Celta Vigo right-back for Hugo Mallo, according to The Times.
