The Mail say Tottenham were interested in Demarai Gray but are not looking to sign the Leicester man.

The Mail previously linked Gray with a possible move to Spurs amid months of speculation over his future.

The Independent, on the other hand, suggest Spurs remain interested and could yet make a pre-deadline move to sign him.

Crystal Palace have more recently been linked with Gray, as have Everton and Bournemouth.

Tottenham are close to completing the signing of Juan Foyth and are trying push through a deal for Paris St-Germain right-back Serge Aurier, The Guardian reports.

Spurs look set to sign highly-rated Argentine defender Foyth (pictured) from Estudiantes for £8m, while a deal worth around £23m has been agreed with PSG for Aurier.

Aurier has reportedly agreed terms but has personal issues to resolve before a move can be completed.

Meanwhile, QPR are looking to arrange a loan move for Sean Goss and are set to complete the signing of Exeter winger David Wheeler, West London Sport reports.

West London Sport also reports that QPR have had an offer for Blackpool winger Bright Osayi-Samuel rejected.

West Ham are selling Diafra Sakho to French club Rennes, according to The Sun.

The Senegalese striker is on his way out of the London Stadium in a deal worth £9m, The Sun say.

He is expected to agree personal terms and complete the move ahead of Thursday’s deadline.

The Daily Mirror say Monaco could make a move for West Ham target William Carvalho.

The Mirror also say West Brom will secure the £7m signing of Arsenal full-back Kieran Gibbs.

The Independent say Arsenal and Chelsea could yet make a bid for Southampton defender Virgil van Dijk.

Everton have rejected a £25m bid from Chelsea for Ross Barkley, according to The Times.

Crystal Palace will back manager Frank de Boer with three big signings, the Daily Star claim.

And the Daily Mail say Fulham will move for Newcastle striker Dwight Gayle following the sale of Sone Aluko to Reading.
