Tottenham linked with Denmark forward

Tottenham are among a number of clubs interested in Ajax striker Kasper Dolberg, according to Italian transfer-gossip website Transfer Market Web.

It is claimed that AC Milan have targeted the Denmark international and that there has also been interest from Spurs, Manchester City and Napoli.

It is also claimed that Dolberg, 19, could be put up for sale this summer for around €15m (about £12.75m).

Dolberg was linked with a move to England prior to joining Ajax from Danish club Silkeborg IF last year.

More recently, Manchester United have been linked with a possible move for him.

Meanwhile, Bournemouth’s Josh King has played down speculation linking him with a possible move to Tottenham.

The Daily Mirror declared this week that the Norway forward “has fired himself onto Spurs’ radar” with his 12 Premier League goals this season.

Norwegian publication Nettavisen quoted King as saying: “This is the first time I’ve heard of this. I’m happy to be recognised, but I’m only focusing on the next three games.”

And the Daily Mail say Toby Alderweireld wants more than £100,000 a week to sign a new contract at Tottenham.

The defender’s current wages are reported to be around £50,000 a week and the Mail say he wants parity with Spurs striker Harry Kane, who earns a reported £110,000 a week.

The newspaper also claims that Tottenham are reluctant to give Alderweireld such a large pay increase and that this “is proving a problem.”

But the Mail also reports that “talks between both parties are ongoing with Spurs hopeful of reaching an agreement.”
