Paper round-up: Spurs tipped to move for Zaha, plus more speculation over Griezmann, Sanchez and Wenger

Wilfried Zaha continues to be linked with a move to Tottenham.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has denied he is looking to sign the Crystal Palace winger and insisted he is not expecting any arrivals ahead of Tuesday’s transfer deadline.

However, The Sun on Sunday suggest Spurs will table a £25m bid for Zaha.

Meanwhile, the Mail on Sunday claim Arsenal will challenge Manchester United for the signing of Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann.

Both clubs are said to be preparing £85m bids for the French forward.

The Sun on Sunday say Atletico will target Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez if Griezmann leaves and are prepared to pay the Chilean £220,000 a week.

The Sunday Express say Arsene Wenger is set to leave Arsenal when his contract expires at the end of the season and that the Gunners are in advanced talks with Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri about the Italian taking over.

Brighton’s former Fulham man David Stockdale is the latest goalkeeper to be touted for a possible move to Chelsea.

The Sunday Mirror reckon Chelsea will target Stockdale, 31, if they cannot agree a deal for Celtic’s Craig Gordon.

And the Daily Star Sunday claim an American consortium want to buy or invest in QPR.

Rangers co-chairman Tony Fernandes would be tempted to sell his shares, it is claimed.
