Arsenal are Tottenham continue to be linked with Leicester’s Riyad Mahrez.

The Sunday Mirror say the north London rivals will go head-to-head in a battle to sign Mahrez and that there is also interest from Barcelona and Roma.

Leicester previously refused to sell the player but are said to have had a change of heart, with manager Craig Shakespeare apparently keen to spend in the January transfer window.

There also continues to be speculation over the futures of Arsenal duo Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.

The Daily Star Sunday say there is no firm interest in Ozil and that could mean that Arsenal will have to cash in on Sanchez in January rather than risk losing both players on Bosman free transfers when their contracts expire at the end of the season.

Chelsea and Tottenham are monitoring MK Dons defender Callum Brittain, the Mail on Sunday say.

The 19-year-old right-back recently broke into the England Under-20 side and his contract expires next summer.

And The Sun on Sunday say Ian Holloway is under pressure and could lose his job as QPR manager if they lose to fellow strugglers Bolton next weekend.

Portsmouth boss Kenny Jackett, who was Holloway’s assistant during his first spell as Rangers manager, is touted as a possible replacement for him at Loftus Road.
