Real Madrid have again been linked with Tottenham star Dele Alli, this time by the Daily Mirror.
The newspaper declare that Real are “considering a stunning summer swoop” for the England international, who signed a new six-year contract at White Hart Lane in September.
That contract has not stopped continued speculation over Alli’s future, with Real and French champions Paris St-Germain again said to be monitoring him ahead of a potential bid.
The Mirror say this apparent news of Real’s interest will “put Spurs under pressure” to give Alli another improved contract in order to keep him happy.
The newspaper also suggest that Alli would find it hard to resist a potential move to Spain.
Real are currently serving a one-window transfer ban but will be clear to sign players again in the summer.
They are reportedly planning a revamp of their squad, with James Rodriguez and Isco among the players tipped to move on.
Midfielder Isco has been linked with Spurs in recent weeks – and the Mirror say he could potentially be part of a swap deal involving Alli.
The player has previously dismissed speculation over his future, while Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has said that the club have no intention of selling Alli.
