Defender Shkodran Mustafi returns to the starting line-up as one of three changes made by Arsenal for their visit to Bournemouth.
The German, who was on the bench against Crystal Palace on New Year’s Day after recovering from injury, replaces Gabriel.
Francis Coquelin comes into midfield, for Mohamed Elneny, who is with Egypt at the Africa Cup of Nations.
Aaron Ramsey also returns, at the expense of Lucas Perez, while Mesut Ozil is once again absent with illness.
Theo Walcott and Kieran Gibbs both miss out through injury.
Bournemouth also make three changes, with on-loan Gunners midfielder Jack Wilshere unable to play against his parent club.
He is replaced by Josh King, while Dan Gosling and Callum Wilson come in for Andrew Surman and former Arsenal forward Benik Afobe.
