Paper round-up: Express say Moyes will get £60m to spend

David Moyes will be given £60m to spend this summer if he keeps West Ham in the Premier League, the Daily Express say.

Moyes, whose contract runs until the end of the season, is reportedly in line for a two-year deal if he helps the club remain in the top flight.

And the Express say he has been told he will get plenty of cash to overhaul the squad ahead of the new season.

As many as 10 players are expected to leave the London Stadium and Moyes is said to have made it clear he needs money to rebuild.

Spanish newspaper AS say Moyes is keen to sign Trabzonspor midfielder Okay Yokuslu, who has been linked with Sevilla.

Meanwhile, Manchester City are reportedly ready to beat the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea to sign Thomas Lemar this summer.

Arsenal have previously attempted to sign the Monaco midfielder and have been tipped to try again for him at the end of the season.

The Daily Telegraph say Chelsea and Liverpool are also interested but that City are set to move to the front of the queue.

The newspaper claim City boss Pep Guardiola wants Eden Hazard but, with Chelsea unwilling to sell the Belgian, Lemar is therefore likely to be targeted as an alternative signing.

Jack Wilshere says he is “no closer” to agreeing a new contract at Arsenal, The Independent reports.

And, in an interview with The Times, Eric Dier has defended Tottenham team-mate Dele Alli against accusations of diving.
