Sun link United with Alli and Hammers prospect is tipped for loan move

The Sun claim Tottenham’s Dele Alli is Manchester United’s number one transfer target.

The story is based on a tweet from Vincent Rodriguez, who used to work alongside Jose Mourinho’s agent Jorge Mendez, which claimed Alli had been “vigorously scouted” by United for six months.

Rodriguez also suggested Spurs would want £100m for the England midfielder, which would be a world-record fee.

The Sun adds again that United boss Mourinho is keen to sign Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann in the summer.

Meanwhile, West Ham prospect Reece Oxford is a target for Rangers, according to the Daily Mirror.

The Scottish giants, managed by ex-Brentford boss Mark Warburton, are said to be have approached the Hammers about a loan deal for the 18-year-old.

The Edmonton-born centre-back, who was briefly on Tottenham’s books when he was 12, has made 14 first-team appearances for West Ham.

West Ham and Crystal Palace have both been linked with a move for Ludogorets forward Jonathan Cafu.

The Sport Witness website claims the two clubs have recently held individual meetings to register their interest in the Brazilian.

Stoke City and Leicester City are also reportedly interested in the former Sao Paulo man, who has played for the Bulgarian club in the Champions League this season.
