Paper round-up: United tipped to move for Spurs duo

The Sun say Harry Kane has pledged to stay at Tottenham for at least one season but that the club could lose both Toby Alderweireld and Danny Rose.

United have long been linked with Rose and The Sun say they are also ready to move for Alderweireld, who is said to be unhappy with Spurs’ latest contract offer.

He is reported to have been offered £110,000 per week plus bonuses but apparently wants closer to £140,000 a week.

The Sun have also picked up on a story in German newspaper Bild suggesting Spurs are looking at Stuttgart’s 21-year-old centre-back Benjamin Pavard.

Kane is set to be named as England captain for this summer’s World Cup, according to the Daily Star.

Brighton have joined a race with Crystal Palace and West Ham for Lille’s Ibrahim Amadou, The Sun say.

Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic is a surprise contender to take over as Chelsea manager, the Daily Mail reckon.

And Chelsea are interested in 17-year-old Turkish goalkeeper Berke Ozer, reports claim.

The youngster currently plays for Altinordu in Turkey’s second tier and has been linked with several European clubs.

The Daily Star have picked up on French publication Foot Mercato claiming that Chelsea have been monitoring him.
