Man City linked with Spurs trio

Manchester City have been linked with Tottenham’s Dele Alli as well as Danny Rose and Kyle Walker.

The Sun have picked up on speculation linking the Spurs trio with a potential move to the Etihad Stadium.

It comes after the Manchester Evening News suggested that the trio are among City boss Pep Guardiola’s transfer targets this summer.

Guardiola has suggested he would like to sign top English players.

That has led to City, who have already been linked with full-backs Walker and Rose in recent months, also now being tipped to move for Alli.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are set to open talks with Nemanja Matic over a new contract, the Daily Mirror say.

Matic has recently been kept out of the Chelsea side and the Mirror reckon Blues boss Antonio Conte wants to sign another midfielder this summer, with Monaco’s Tiemoue Bakayoko and Franck Kessie of Atalanta again said to be on the radar.

But the Mirror also believe Conte wants to secure Matic’s long-term future at Stamford Bridge as he enjoys a good relationship with the Serbian.

Conte is said to have persuaded Matic not to join Juventus last year.
