West Ham reportedly want to sign Patrick Roberts from Manchester City this summer.

The Sun say the Hammers and Leicester will battle for the signing of the former Fulham youngster, who is currently on a season-long loan at Celtic.

West Ham were interested in the 21-year-old prior to his move to City from Fulham, while Leicester reportedly wanted him in January in a proposed swap deal involving Riyad Mahrez.

Meanwhile, Jack Wilshere has been tipped to sign a new contract at Arsenal.

The Daily Telegraph and the Daily Mail say Wilshere, whose current deal at the Emirates Stadium expires at the end of the season, is ready to accept a pay cut and commit his future to the club.

Striker Alexandre Lacazette is under pressure at Arsenal and faces the prospect of leaving in the summer, according to former Gunners star Emmanuel Petit.

Petit is quoted by The Sun as saying: “Lacazette is under massive pressure. He needs to improve or face the exit this summer.

“Aubameyang’s signing tells me it might already be too late. Arsene Wenger’s belief in Lacazette has gone.

“After six months his statistics are not exactly tremendous.”

And Tottenham defender Toby Alderweireld has declared himself fit for this weekend’s north London derby against Arsenal at Wembley, The Independent reports.
