New Everton boss Sam Allardyce is keen to take Crystal Palace’s Patrick van Aanholt to Goodison Park, according to the Daily Star.

Former Chelsea man Van Aanholt has played under Allardyce at Sunderland as well as Palace.

He is among several players linked with a possible move to Everton following Allardyce’s appointment – Chelsea’s Baba Rahman is also among them.

Meanwhile, The Sun say Arsenal are set to sell Theo Walcott and that West Ham are interested in signing him.

Walcott’s former club Southampton are also said to be interested in the England winger, who is among a number of Gunners players tipped to move on in January.

The Sun say Mathieu Debuchy, Carl Jenkinson and Calum Chambers could also all be sold or loaned out by Arsenal next month.

The Sun also say Joe Hart will be left out of the West Ham side for Saturday’s derby against Chelsea.

It comes after Adrian performed well in Hart’s absence against Manchester City on Sunday, when the keeper could not play as he is on loan from City.

The Daily Mail, which has linked West Ham with Russia international Fyodor Smolov, say the Hammers could face competition from Real Madrid for the Krasnodar striker.

Manchester United continue to be linked with Tottenham defender Danny Rose.

The Daily Mail claim United boss Jose Mourinho is increasingly confident that Rose will move to Old Trafford in January.

It follows reports that Spurs would be willing to let Rose go for around £50m if an offer comes in.

And The Times say Eden Hazard is stalling over a new contract at Chelsea because he is hoping Real Madrid make a move for him.
