Paper round-up: Spurs linked with White

The Sun say defender Ben White has turned down a new contract at Brighton and that Tottenham are interested in the youngster.

White, 20, has impressed on loan at Newport County this season and is under contract until the end of next term.

The Sun say Spurs and Liverpool are monitoring the situation ahead of a possible move.

Meanwhile, Barcelona are monitoring Tottenham defender Toby Alderweireld, according to The Independent, which also believes Manchester United are interested but are reluctant to deal with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy.

The Independent also say Tottenham are set to play the first few games of next season away from White Hart Lane as the stadium’s redevelopment is being completed.

The Daily Mail, though, say Levy is confident the stadium will be ready for the start of the new season.

Tottenham are willing to pay up to £35m for Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon, according to the Daily Telegraph.

Spurs are watching Ajax duo Justin Kluivert and Donny van de Beek, according to The Sun.

Arsenal are reviewing the future of manager Arsene Wenger and could replace him at the end of the season, according to reports.

It comes in the wake of the Gunners’ dismal performance in Sunday’s Carabao Cup final against Manchester City.

The Daily Telegraph say former Arsenal captain Mikel Arteta – now City assistant boss – is among the candidates being monitored along with Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers, Monaco’s Leonardo Jardim and Germany coach Joachim Low.

The Daily Star say former Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti is keen to take over at the Emirates Stadium.

The Daily Mirror say West Ham are eyeing a summer move for Anderlecht midfielder Leander Dendoncker and that Fiorentina plan to target Hammers midfielder Pedro Obiang.

And Chelsea will offer Eden Hazard a new contract worth close to £300,000 per week in order to fend off interest from Real Madrid, the Daily Mail say.
