Paper round-up: Spurs linked with Soares and Neves

The Daily Mirror say Tottenham have added Southampton defender Cedric Soares and Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves to their list of transfer targets along with a third Portuguese player, Sporting Lisbon winger Gelson Martins.

The Mirror say Spurs are monitoring Soares’ situation at Southampton and that the club’s interest in the right-back throws Serge Aurier’s future into doubt.

Neves has been touted as a possible replacement for Mousa Dembele, who this summer is due to enter the final year of his Tottenham contract.

Meanwhile, Reo Griffiths has been linked with a potential move away from Tottenham after scoring four goals in an Under-18 game.

The striker has scored 33 goals this season and starred in a 9-0 hammering of Arsenal’s youngsters on Tuesday.

And the Mirror claim Griffins, 17, is attracting interest from German club RB Leipzig.

There continues to be speculation over the future of Danny Rose, who has been linked with Manchester United.

The Sun say Tottenham would want £40m plus United’s Luke Shaw if they are to sell Rose this summer.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is said to be reluctant to let Rose go but potentially interested in a deal if Shaw is included as part of the package.
