Glasgow Rangers reportedly want to take young midfielder Marcus McGuane to Ibrox on loan from Arsenal.

The Sun say several clubs in the UK and abroad, including Italian side Napoli, are keen on the England Under-19 international and that his advisers believe a move to Rangers would be ideal for him.

Rangers director of football Mark Allen is said to be desperate to push through a deal and The Sun say further talks are expected to take place later this week.

Meanwhile, there continues to be speculation over the future of Theo Walcott.

The Daily Mirror say Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger may be willing to let Walcott leave this month and that West Ham are among the clubs keen to snap the winger up.

Everton and Walcott’s former club Southampton are also hoping to sign him, the Mirror say.

The Daily Mail run a similar story, suggesting Southampton are looking to sign Walcott on a loan deal and that there is also interest from Watford.

The Mail believe Walcott is open to a move away from the Emirates Stadium having fallen out of favour with Wenger.

And a number of newspapers report that Arsenal expect Alexis Sanchez to stay until the end of the season, when his contract at the club expires.
