Papers: Spurs and Everton reportedly eyeing Zaha deal

Tottenham and Everton are planning to offer Crystal Palace players in exchange for Wilfried Zaha, the Daily Mirror say.

Palace reportedly want £60m for the winger and the Mirror say both Spurs and Everton are looking at potential swap deals rather than meeting the huge asking price.

The newspaper suggest Moussa Sissoko is a player Spurs could offer Palace and that Everton could give the Eagles the chance to re-sign Yannick Bolasie, who is apparently valued at £15m by the Merseyside club.

It comes hours after the The Mirror reported that new Everton boss Marco Silva is keen to sign Zaha and Arsenal forward Danny Welbeck.

There are doubts over the future of Welbeck, who faces a struggle for a first-team place at Arsenal and has been tipped to move on.

Meanwhile, Manchester United continue to be linked with Tottenham defender Toby Alderweireld.

Negotiations between the two clubs reportedly stalled earlier this month, with Spurs’ asking price apparently too high.

But The Independent say United still believe there is a deal to be done and that Alderweireld could yet end up at Old Trafford.

Real Madrid are closing in on the signing of Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, the Daily Mail reports.

The story is based on Spanish newspaper Marca reporting on Wednesday that talks are at an advanced stage and that Courtois is set to move for a fee in the region of £31m.

And Metro have come up with a story based on Spanish radio station Onda Cero claiming that Barcelona could offer Ousmane Dembele to Chelsea as part of a deal to sign Eden Hazard.
