Arsenal are battling with Liverpool for the signing of Mexico winger Hirving Lozano, the Daily Star say.

Lozano, who is apparently rated at £42m, has scored 10 goals in 15 appearances for PSV Eindhoven this season.

Arsenal have recently been linked with the 22-year-old and Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is now also said to be interested.

The Star declare that there could be a “bidding war” between the two Premier League clubs.

The Daily Express also declare that Arsenal are set for a “bidding war” – in this case apparently with Chelsea for Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey.

The Star claim Watford are planning a move for Arsenal’s Theo Walcott, who has recently been linked with a number of clubs, including West Ham.

There continues to be speculation over the future of Alexis Sanchez.

The Daily Mirror say Arsenal will listen to offers of £35m for the Chilean forward, whose contract is due to expire after the end of the season.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have been told Julian Draxler would cost them £40m, according to The Sun.

It is claimed that the Gunners approached Paris St-Germain with an enquiry about the Germany international’s potential availability.

And following recent reports linking Arsenal with Burnley’s James Tarkowski, the Star claim Chelsea are also interested in the former Brentford central defender.
