Paper round-up: West Ham reportedly want Heaton

West Ham want to sign goalkeeper Tom Heaton from Burnley, according to The Sun.

The Hammers are expected to sign a keeper this summer after Joe Hart’s disappointing season on loan from Manchester City.

The Sun say they are keen on Heaton, who has lost his place to Nick Pope at Burnley after being sidelined by a shoulder injury for much of the campaign.

Meanwhile, the Daily Star say Mauricio Pochettino is ready to snub Chelsea and stay at Tottenham.

It comes after reports Pochettino was a target for Chelsea amid speculation over the Argentine’s future at Spurs.

Chelsea are widely expected to part with Antonio Conte this summer and Pochettino is among several managers to be linked with the Blues job.

The Star say Pochettino is happy at Spurs and will show his loyalty to the club by ignoring Chelsea’s interest.

The Sun say Tottenham are among clubs chasing Celtic’s Kieran Tierney. Manchester United and Atletico Madrid are also reported to be keen on the Scotland defender.

And reports suggest Mikel Arteta is on course to take over from Arsene Wenger as Arsenal manager.

Former Gunners captain Arteta, currently coaching at Manchester City, is now the odds-on favourite for the job.
