Manchester United and Manchester City are among clubs involved in a race to sign Arsenal’s 18-year-old midfield prospect Marcus McGuane, according to The Independent.

Juventus are said to be leading the race, with Napoli and a number of Championship clubs also showing an interest, The Independent say.

McGuane is in the final year of his contract at the Emirates Stadium and Arsenal have been in negotiations over a new deal.

Meanwhile, there is again speculation about Slaven Bilic’s position following West Ham’s disappointing start to the season.

The Daily Mirror claim the club are already looking at possible replacements for the Croatian and that Newcastle boss Rafael Benitez is liked by the Hammers hierarchy.

The Mirror also claim Lille are ready to make Chelsea an offer for Michy Batshuayi.

The French outfit are said to be willing to pay £36m for the Belgian striker, who has been linked with several clubs in recent months.

The Mail, meanwhile, say Batshuayi wants to stay and that Chelsea are not looking to sell him.

The Mail also claim Chelsea want to sign Dele Alli and that he has begun the process of changing agents ahead of a potential move from Tottenham.

And according to the Daily Telegraph, both Chelsea and Tottenham are set to make offers for Ross Barkley despite the fact the Everton midfielder faces three months on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.
