Ospina wants to leave Arsenal, Times say

David Ospina wants to leave Arsenal at the end of the season, according to The Times.

The Colombia goalkeeper has not made a single Premier League appearance this season and is said to be unhappy at the Emirates Stadium.

The Times’ story comes amid ongoing speculation over the futures of boss Arsene Wenger and a number of his players, most notably Alexis Sanchez.

Sanchez reportedly also wants to leave this summer after being dropped following a fall-out with Wenger.

The Daily Mail say Sanchez, who has been linked with Chelsea and Manchester City, will not be allowed to join another Premier League club.

Meanwhile, the Daily Telegraph suggest Wenger could wait until the end of the season before making a decision on his own future.

It comes after the Frenchman was asked at a press conference on Monday about his recent comments suggesting that he would make a decision in March or April.

Wenger, whose contract expires this summer, said: “You do not make this kind of decision focusing on one result or two bad results.

“You have to take a bigger picture and see, ‘Can you take this club to the next level? Can you take yourself to the next level? Are you ready to pay the price for that?’

“This decision is not necessarily linked with two weeks out of 20 years. I don’t feel I box myself in a corner.”
