Tottenham are without Christian Eriksen and goalkeeper Hugo Lloris for the game at St Mary’s.
Lloris is ill, so Michel Vorm plays for the visitors, who are still without the injured Toby Alderweireld, Harry Winks and Danny Rose.
With Eriksen also absent, Moussa Sissoko comes in for Spurs.
Southampton, who are without defender Maya Yoshida and strikers Shane Long and Charlie Austin, make two changes, with Mario Lemina and Manolo Gabbiadini starting.
