Sky pundit predicts Leicester will ‘turn over’ troubled Spurs

Charlie Nicholas has predicted a defeat for Tottenham in their match against Leicester City on Saturday.

It has been a troubled start to the season for Spurs amid speculation over the futures of the likes of Christian Eriksen.

And pundit Nicholas believes their woes will continue against the Foxes this weekend.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has suggested that clear-the-air talks with his players will lead to a renewed focus now the transfer window has closed.

But former Arsenal striker Nicholas believes all is not well at Spurs and that Leicester can take advantage.

In his predictions for Sky Sports, he predicted a 2-1 win for Leicester.

Nicholas said: “Tottenham, we were told, have calmed down after the Crystal Palace game. Christian Eriksen stays put and they have their private chat, but I don’t think that is the case.

“I don’t think Danny Rose is happy – how long will it be until he comes out and says he is not happy? Will Eriksen stay in the team now that Dele Alli is back? Does Heung-Min Son edge out Lucas Moura? There are so many questions.

“I think Leicester could turn them over. With the aggression and passion, they can control the passing and keep the ball, sit back and counter-attack if needs be.

“(Harvey) Barnes needs to grow, but needs the opportunity to grow, and this could be the game for him.”
