QPR eyeing potential move for Tottenham youngster

Tottenham Hotspur youngster Kieran Morgan is among a number of players on trial at QPR ahead of a possible move to the west London club.

West London Sport have reported that Rangers are also looking at Ma’kel Bogle-Campbell of Fulham, Ipswich Town duo Nick Nkansa-Dwamena and Henry Curtison and West Ham’s Blaise Uwandji.

Morgan is coming to the end of his contract at Spurs and could be snapped up by the R’s, who have been quick to sign players released by other London clubs over the past few years.

Ebere Eze was their big success story, having been left go by Millwall, while the likes of Aramide Oteh and Charlie Owens have moved to Loftus Road after being released by Tottenham.

Morgan played for QPR’s Under-18s in a recent match against Barnsley and it remains to be seen whether he will be offered a chance to join on a permanent basis.

Midfielder Bogle-Campbell, who was at Arsenal prior to joining Fulham, played for QPR’s development side in a match against Sheffield Wednesday this week.

So too did full-backs Nkansa-Dwamena and Curtis and forward Uwandji.

Nkansa-Dwamena was on West Ham’s books before joining Ipswich in 2022. He featured for the Suffolk side in an Under-18s match against QPR in January.

All four players have been given a trial with the R’s as they are expected to be released from their contracts at the end of the season.

Hosts Wednesday won the game 3-1. Rangers’ goal was scored by Joseph Ajose.
