Paper round-up: Clarets considering pre-deadline move for Tottenham man

Burnley have again been linked with a pre-deadline move for Tottenham striker Vincent Janssen.

The Daily Mail say Burnley manager Sean Dyche is considering moves for Janssen and Birmingham City’s Che Adams this week.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has made it clear that the out-of-favour Janssen can leave. Reports say Tottenham want to sell him for £15m.

Meanwhile, Callum Hudson-Odoi has agreed to stay at Chelsea until the end of the season, the Mail say. 

Chelsea want to sign Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic in the summer, the Daily Express claim.

Manchester United have offered Juan Mata a new deal in an attempt to stop him joining Arsenal, according to The Sun.

Mata’s contract at Old Trafford expires in the summer and reports have recently claimed that Arsenal could sign him on a free transfer.

The Sun say United have offered him a contract worth £140,000-a-week in an attempt to persuade him to stay.

The Sun also say Arsenal have offered Ivan Perisic £250,000 a week to join them loan with a view to a permanent move in the summer and also remain hopeful of a deal to sign Malcom on loan.

The Daily Star claim Mesut Ozil could join Paris St-Germain from Arsenal in exchange for Adrien Rabiot.

And Sheffield United will reject an offer from West Ham for John Fleck, according to the Yorkshire Post.

The Hammers are said to be offering £4m for the Scottish midfielder, who has been linked with a number of clubs.

Fleck has impressed for the Blades this season and the Post say the Championship club are determined to keep him.
