Christian Eriksen has been galvanised by the move to Tottenham’s new stadium, according to Jamie Redknapp.
Eriksen seemed to go off the boil but his form in recent weeks has been outstanding.
And the Dane’s brilliant late strike clinched a 1-0 win at home to Brighton which kept Spurs firmly on course for a top-four finish.
Speaking on Sky Sportsm former Tottenham and England midfielder Redknapp said: “This stadium has breathed life into him. Until he came here he was having a bit of a spell, Christian Eriksen.
“He’s a brilliant technical player off of either foot and it was a brilliant strike – unstoppable.”
Meanwhile, Mauricio Pochettino says he is hopeful Eriksen will stay at Tottenham.
Eriksen’s contract expires next year and he has been linked with several clubs, including Real Madrid.
“I hope and wish Christian can be with us in the future,” said Spurs boss Pochettino.
“I think Christian and us, we are so open to talk and we will see what happens.
“It’s a situation that’s a very special one and Christian is a special person. The timing for him or for the club to be agreeing something is maybe different to another player.
“It’s so close to the end of the season and there’s a lot of time to talk afterwards. “The most important thing now, not only for him, is for all the players to be focused and try to achieve the things we want.”
Speaking at his post-match press conference, Pochettino said: “We’re in a position now that is in our hands to be in the top four.
“At the end the reward is massive because the three points for us puts us in a very good position in the table. The three points means a lot for us.
“You cannot guess what will happen. We must be focused and try to win the next three games.
“If we can win the three games then we are not going to think about our opponents.”
