Some of the Sunday newspaper stories involving London clubs..

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is wanted by Real Madrid, the Sunday Mirror say.

The newspaper claim Real are discussing future manager targets and that “right now Pochettino is top of the list”.

Apparently Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is aware of Real’s interest and will face a fight to stop Pochettino eventually leaving White Hart Lane.

The Argentine signed a new five-year contract last summer.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are interested in Newcastle central defender Jamaal Lascelles, according to The Sun on Sunday.

The Blues are also keen on Celtic’s former Fulham forward Moussa Dembele, according to the Sunday Express.

The Express have also picked up on reports in Italy claiming that West Ham are hoping Napoli take striker Simone Zaza and sell Manolo Gabbiadini to them.

Zaza has failed to impress since joining the Hammers on loan from Juventus during the summer.

West Ham are reportedly obliged to sign Italy international Zaza, 25, for £17.7m if he makes 10 appearances for them.

According to television station Rai Sport, the club are willing to offer £22.5m plus Zaza for the 24-year-old Gabbiadini in January.
