Tottenham are lining up a bid for Bournemouth midfielder Lewis Cook, the Daily Star say.

Spurs are said to be ready to offer £30m for the Cherries star, who was on standby for England’s World Cup squad.

It comes as Cook, 21, is discussing a new deal with Bournemouth, where he is under contract until 2020.

Meanwhile, Bayer Leverkusen want Tottenham’s teenage midfielder Marcus Edwards, according to The Sun.

The Sun also say Chelsea are looking to beat Spurs to the signing of Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish.

The Daily Star say Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri is set for for talks with Willian about the Brazilian’s future at Stamford Bridge.

The Daily Mirror say Chelsea have not given up hope of signing Gonzalo Higuaín despite reports the Juventus striker has agreed a move to AC Milan.

Crystal Palace are closing on the signing of Swansea forward Jordan Ayew in a deal that will see midfielder Jairo Riedewald move the other way, The Guardian reports.

And The Sun reports that Palace are set to complete the signing of Germany midfielder Max Meyer.
