Sunday paper round-up: Everton tipped to move for Rose

Everton are looking to snap up Danny Rose after other clubs cooled their interest in the Tottenham left-back, The Sun on Sunday say.

Rose had been tipped to join Manchester United and was previously linked with Manchester City.

But with no move having materialised, The Sun on Sunday now say Everton could sign him this summer.

Everton are said to have targeted him as a replacement for veteran full-back Leighton Baines, who is apparently wanted by American clubs.

Meanwhile, Newcastle have slapped a £30m price tag on Jamaal Lascelles in order to deter West Ham, again according to The Sun on Sunday.

The defender is among several players to be linked with the Hammers, who are expected to spend heavily following the recent appointment of Manuel Pellegrini as manager.

Lascelles has also been linked with Chelsea, but Newcastle boss Rafael Benitez is keen to keep him at St James’ Park.

Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund are reportedly in talks over a possible permanent move to the German club for Michy Batshuayi.

The Mail on Sunday say Chelsea want around £50m for Batshuayi and could look to have Dortmund’s United States playmaker Christian Pulisic included as part of any deal.

And Ross Barkley is growing frustrated at Chelsea because of his lack of first-team action, The Sun on Sunday say.
