Two out, one possibly in at QPR

QPR have made an offer for Bristol City winger Luke Freeman, West London Sport report.

Rangers want to add at least one winger to their squad during this month’s transfer window and are also keen to sign Brighton’s Kazenga LuaLua on loan.

Freeman, 24, started his career at Gillingham and was snapped up by Arsenal in 2008.

He did not make a first-team appearance before leaving in 2012 for Stevenage, who sold him to Bristol City two years later.

Meanwhile, Sandro and Tjaronn Chery are moving closer to completing their moves to Turkey and China respectively.

QPR boss Ian Holloway has told the BBC he felt the club were making the right decision by selling Chery, who is set to join Guizhou Hengfeng Zhicheng.

Holloway said: “He’s 28 now and when you get to 28 you need a really big contract. Sometimes you’re better off with people who really want to be here.

“We’ve been talking to him about the possibility of getting him on a longer deal, but he’d heard about China and he needs to get as much as he can for his family while he can.

“He wanted to leave, so what could I say? Tjaronn wore the shirt with pride but he also knows what he’s got to do for his family.”
