QPR could send winger Olamide Shodipo out on loan ahead of today’s transfer deadline.

West London Sport reports that the Irish youngster has been made available for a loan move and could go before the day is out.

Shodipo, 20, was loaned to Port Vale this time last year and made six appearances for them, with four coming as a substitute.

His loan spell was cut short because of a knee problem and his last first-team outing was 10 months ago.

The injury saw him struggle during the early part of this season but he is now back to full fitness and has featured for QPR’s Under-23 side in recent months.

Shodipo is well down the pecking order at Loftus Road and could be set to move elsewhere in order to play regular football for the remainder of the campaign.

He has made 15 senior appearances for the R’s, having made his debut against Leeds United on the opening day of last season.
