QPR chairman Amit Bhatia has fuelled speculation that Jamie Reuben will be part of a takeover at Newcastle.
Reuben stepped down as a QPR director this week, prompting suggestions he was about to take up a role at St James’ Park.
And a message on Twitter from Bhatia seemed to indicate that will be the case.
Posting on Twitter, Bhatia praised Marcus Rashford for the Manchester United and England striker’s campaign for free school lunches to be provided for children during school holidays.
Reuben responded by sarcastically asking his friend Bhatia if Rashford might be a potential future signing.
And Bhatia’s response, which was to tweet directions from Manchester to Newcastle, certainly got Magpies fans talking!
How absolutely incredible is Marcus Rashford. pic.twitter.com/ZXqWBMIYzZ
