Chelsea youngster lined up for QPR move

QPR are looking to snap up Izzy Brown from their west London neighbours Chelsea.

West London Sport report that Rangers are keen to take Brown to Loftus Road this summer.

The 23-year-old has just completed a season-long loan in the Championship with Luton, where he started 17 league matches.

Brown has a year remaining on his contract at Chelsea, where his first-team prospects look slim.

His spell with Luton was his sixth stint out on loan since the Blues signed him from West Bromwich Albion in 2013.

He was on loan at Vitesse Arnhem, Rotherham and Huddersfield before a spell at Brighton was cut short by a knee injury.

Since that spell on the sidelines he has had an unsuccessful spell on loan at Leeds before joining Luton.

He joined Leeds while still recovering from the knee injury and did not start a league game for the Yorkshire club.

Brown had more game time at Luton and will now be looking to build on that experience next season.

A move to QPR might suit all parties, with Rangers expected to lose star men Ebere Eze and Bright Osayi-Samuel.

Brown offers versatility as he can play as a striker, winger or in the number 10 role.
