West Ham v Arsenal teams: Both sides make changes, Carroll a sub, no Giroud

West Ham’s Arthur Masuaku comes in for his first start since September and Andy Carroll is on the bench for the derby at the London Stadium.

Masuaku plays because Aaron Cresswell picked up an injury during the midweek EFL Cup defeat at Manchester United, as did Michail Antonio, who also misses out.

The injury-plagued Carroll, out since August with a knee problem, is back in the Hammers’ matchday squad.

Ashley Fletcher, who scored against United, starts up front.

Arsenal meanwhile, are without the injured Olivier Giroud.

With Hector Bellerin and Mathieu Debuchy injured and Carl Jenkinson left out, Gabriel is set to play at right-back for the Gunners.

West Ham: Randolph, Obiang, Reid, Collins, Ogbonna, Noble, Fernandes, Lanzini, Masuaku, Payet, Fletcher.
Subs: Adrian, Nordtveit, Arbeloa, Feghouli, Carroll, Ayew, Zaza.

Arsenal: Cech, Gabriel, Mustafi, Koscielny, Monreal, Coquelin, Xhaka, Walcott, Ozil, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Sanchez.
Subs: Ospina, Gibbs, Holding, Ramsey, Elneny, Iwobi, Lucas.
