Man Utd v Tottenham teams: defender starts after injury, Spurs make two changes, Rooney benched by Mourinho

Toby Alderweireld starts his first Premier League game in almost two months as Tottenham make two changes for their trip to Manchester United.

Centre-back Alderweireld injured his knee against West Brom on 15 October but made his return as a substitute against CSKA Moscow in midweek.

He replaces Eric Dier in the starting line-up, with Mousa Dembele coming in for Harry Winks.

Winger Erik Lamela and striker Vincent Janssen remain unavailable.
